My family and friends give me guidance and unconditional love. I am stronger because of them. I'm grateful for everyone in my life who has influenced my life.

This was the first day Ellie and I got to hold our baby sister, Meilani. It was a big moment for me.

Xiao Fei, my first au pair, was one of the best caregivers I had. She helped me with much of my Chinese homework.

My best friend, Hiroki, was the sweetest dog anyone could have. She died on 3/8/2020. We miss her.

My great-grandfather was such a dignified man. I was lucky to remember him. He taught me how to write beautifully in Chinese.
